Welcome to the 2011-2012 skis season! Alta opened last Friday, November 18th, and we were lucky enough to have about a foot of snow dropped on the mountain for the first saturday of the year. I enjoyed my first lift assisted face shot yesterday and can’t wait to get some more. But let’s try to keep the excitement in check until the base gets a little deeper. It’s pretty bony out there so please choose your lines carefully. It may be a while until the next storm cycle, so I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and keeps praying for more snow!
