It was a bluebird sunny day at Alta, with warm spring temps and no crowds or lift lines. In other words, a perfect day to take the nephews out of school and let them learn more about shredding the hill.
Leo and Kai were excited to test out their abilities again at Alta. They even planned on doing double backies! (No they didn’t actually even attempt it) However, they did reach some new milestones. Leo skied all on his own from the top of Sugarloaf to the bottom and was begging us to try from the top of Collins but unfortunately we ran out of time. Kai had his his first solo shred without the tethers down the rope tow slope.
Leo also tried some new Gopro camera angles, a pole mount selfie shot, a Narwhal 360 shot, and some helmet POV through the trees. He also hit some little jumps.
All in all it was a great day for the boys and they are improving each time they go up!
