Our yesterday storm continued to trickle out a few more inches and we ended up with almost a foot of fresh. Devil’s Castle was the last big terrain opening left today and it didn’t happen until this around noon, at which time we were already off to Alta’s sidecountry.
We hit a Sunset lap that was the best skiing we’ve had in about 2 months. We also skied that bowl off the backside of Supreme Lift, whatchamacallit and it was also very smooth and creamy. We ended the day with a Patsey Marley and were lucky enough to have the skies part again for great visibility the whole way down. It had more crusty chunder but it was still quite rippable with the top 4 inches being powda. The day as a whole was phenomenal and more snow is in the forecast. Winter is back baby!
