Alta received a nice little refresher storm that deposited about half a foot of light fluff on top of an existing base, that while meager, is somewhat dense and covering well.
We went up on the Shoulder and found some decent snow. We also found a few rocks. We finished off the day skiing down near the Wildcat lift. If you were safe you could avoid most hazards and actually dig some decent turns. A surprisingly good day of skiing up there! Alta is blowing snow up the entire Corkscrew groomer so the season appears to be coming together.
