NateOur plans changed several times. Alta closed the parking lots at 6pm and uphill traffic at 6pm so our plans settled on parking up at the Summer Road and circling back to Greeley Hill to end up skiing High Boy. The untouched snow beckoned us to Eagle’s Nest though, fully knowing and expecting to encounter some hazards.
The snow was super soft and fun and you could really crank some turns in the pockets that were obviously hazard-free. We did however manage to hit several stumps/trees etc. Nothing to cause any crashes but enough to disrupt our flow momentarily.
The mountain is really filling in nicely and another storm is about a week away. Keep them coming.
