NateIt was an unexpected country club day at Alta. Only 1″ reported overnight with a moderate amount forecasted to accumulate during the day didn’t sound epic. But the road closed at 10:30 this morning and the snow was actually smooth and bottomless. It wasn’t deep but any hard or bumpy layer wasn’t present.
It looks like we’re going to be treated to a bluebird pow day tomorrow and with nothing opening today it should be another epic one for the record books.
