Alta got pounded early this morning with an inch of fluff. This had us frothing. Unfortunately we couldn’t hit the road until about 2pm. But with the deepity deep calling to us, we had to answer.
Actually the inch of snow made for some pretty soft turns. We only had time for a Rocky Point Patsey before the sun set on us. Rocky had a hard layer underneath that was manageable. The same could be said for Patsey. The skies were gorgeous, the backcountry slopes were empty, the fresh snow did its best to soften up the day. Well worth the late afternoon trip.
