Eric Pollard has done it again, he has produced in collaboration with Line Skis, a true all mountain powder ski. The 2012 Mr Pollard Opus Ski is a slimmed down version from its predecessor EP Pro and its definitely stiffer for the 2012 season and the graphics are not too bad either.
Don’t be fooled thinking this only a ski for the boys, my friend Sarah was rocking these skis like no ones business. They come with a Maple Macrobook Core and have one of the most durable flexes out there due to the 100% tip to tail wood core.
The sidewall construction is an ABS plastic wall over the edges that will absorb impact and vibrations for a smooth ride on the mountain in any condition or terrain. It’s shaped with an early rise in the tip and tail giving you the necessary float in the powder.
Dimensions: 17.2m @ 185cm and 175cm, 144/118/141
If you are looking for an effortless ski that will glide over the crude, float in the powder and be playful and nimble in tight chutes the Line Mr Pollard Opus Ski is the ski you should go with. Don’t be fooled though, you have to bring your A-game to ski these sticks or they will end up skiing you. See you out on the mountain.
