Backcountry.com is offering discounted lift tickets to local ski resorts for the 2011-2012 ski season. Proceeds will go towards the Utah Avalanche Center. A big thanks go towards Ski Utah and participating ski resorts who donated the lift tickets to benefit the Utah Avalanche Center and backcountry.com for distributing them. Participating resorts include; The Canyons, Park City, Deer Valley, Brighton, Powder Mountain, Snowbasin, Sundance and Wolf Mountain.
The Utah Avalanche Center is a cooperative effort between the Department of Agriculture Forest Service and the non-profit friends of the Utah Avalanche Center. The Friends of the Utah Avalanche Center partners with the Forest Service to provide avalanche forecasting and education in Utah. Our common goal is to keep people on top of the Greatest Snow on Earth. We are a non-profit 501 corporation.
