Rocky Point Laps

Skiing inbounds at Alta is back to the same old, same old…tracked and hard packed.  So, why not grab your backcountry gear and head out to Rocky Point. No one is skiing out there and the snow is silky smooth. We found some great turns over by A-Frame as well as under Sunset. If you stay away from the obvious wind-scoured brown snow most of Rocky Point is skiing as fast as you want it. Tomorrow is looking good if dust on crust is your cup of tea but, if we can squeeze 4 inches out of tonight’s storm Alta’s inbound’s terrain will get a much needed face lift.
