The 4″ that fell overnight didn’t seem like it would be much to get excited over but add that to the 5″ that fell 48 hours earlier and you got yourself a legit pow day. Last night’s snow fell light and dry not really helping to cover up the ever-present bumps in Eagle’s Nest and High Boy.
Thankfully Alta Ski Patrol opened up Baldy Shoulder and Backside for the first time in a few days giving skiers access into terrain that easily had close to a foot of fresh on it. Turns were also exceptional in Rocky Point and Patsy Marley. The forecast is starting to look decent for tonight with another 8-12″ to hit the Cottonwoods by tomorrow night!
