Main Chute Still Goes

If you’re looking for one last run this year be sure to check out Snowbird’s cheater tram lap of Main Chute.  There’s no need to hike from the base of Alta.  Just grab a $17 tram pass at the Bird and within minutes you’ll be less than a 30 minute walk to the top of Mt. Baldy.  We skied Main Chute this past Monday and the snow was surprisingly good in spots.  There’s plenty of rocks scattered about but the snow goes from top to bottom.  With the forecasted heat wave coming these next few days I’d say this weekend will likely be your last chance to send it down this classic chute.  Get it before it’s too late!
