If you could brave the windy conditions today the skiing was worth it. Pockets of deeps turns and fast open wind buffed runs made every lap a good time. The High Traverse looks like a rock field, but the Alta Ski Patrol worked hard to keep the route passable. Thirds was fun, but the visibility was non-existent. Eagle’s Nest and High Boy were the place to go today. Winds on top of Baldy were gusting up to ninety miles per hour so nothing opened today which will mean great skiing for the rest of this week. Bundle up and get your shred on.
A big thank you to Katie Fillnow for the picture and report!
