There is a lot of hard snow and ice at Alta right now but today’s snow is helping cover it up. Around 2pm it was officially nuke town. Runs from Gunsight through to Regal Chute were skiing fast and relatively smooth. Greeley Bowl was absolutely ripping.
Low angle where no huge moguls had formed was the spot early on. By later in the afternoon steep runs like Regal were skiing soft and smooth. The dumping is not done. Tomorrow will likely be even better.
