NateUtah got dumped on again and we topped 600 inches at Alta. With 2 feet of fresh snow on a Sunday we figured it might be best to head out into the side country. I’m sure inbounds would have been awesome too. But with my back barely recovering from too much yard work, I was happy to do more hiking than skiing.
Rocky was blower. Patsey had some wind blown areas that had scoured to crust, but with so much powder it didn’t matter much. Great snow from top to bottom and all day.
