NateAlta’s opening day for the 2015-2016 season was better than expected. With only a 22″ base skiing off piste seemed sketchy. Fortunately the 3″ of dense graupel that fell last night made most open areas skiable.
Baldy Shoulder is filling in nicely with plenty of clean lines to be had. Runs off of Wild Cat are a little rocky down low but not bad up high in Punch Bowl and Warm Up. Tower 10 and the High T still have a ways to go but hopefully after our Thanksgiving storm we’ll be skiing everywhere. Get some this weekend!
