With no additional snowfall looking likely throughout the day we decided to spend the day in Alta’s slack-country. In-bounds was still pretty crunchy underneath and after yesterday’s success in Rocky Point the decision was obvious.
Sunset and Tuscoroa were lacking in the coverage area but snow quality-wise were skiing great. Rocks were definitely nicked but nothing major. Face-shots are still hard to find but skiing smooth fluffy snow again sure felt great. The forecast doesn’t look good and the Supreme Lift isn’t open much longer so get your side-country laps in while you can.
