It’s December, the time of the year when your fingers freeze while you’re out there on the ski slopes. Luckily I discovered Hestra gloves a few years ago and will never look back. These gloves keep your hands toasty and warm when the temperature drops into the single digits.
The Heli Mitt’s come with an elastic band that wrap around your wrist and is attached to the glove. This acts as a safety device when you take your glove off on the lift. It also comes with a velcro closure and a locking drawstring which is a guarantee snow lockout. They have a removable Bemberg/Polyester liner with a Quallofill/Fiberfill insulation. So on those warmer days you can remove the liner but still have ample protection for your fingers. The palm of the mitt is proofed army leather-goat leather palm and the remaining upper section is made of waterproof and breathable Triton/Polyamide fabric.
Hestra gloves are bombproof and frozen finger proof. Every member of my family, kids and grandparents included, are Hestra fans and lifetime wearers of Hestra gloves. They last longer than any glove I’ve ever had and most importantly, they keep my fingers nice and toasty.
