Opening week at Alta was not too shabby considering the low snow pack. Alta Ski Patrol did a great job preparing the mountain for opening day and later in the week opened Baldy Shoulder and Gunsight. Skiers willing to take their chances with all the rocks and stumps were greatly rewarded as the skiing was fantastic. Stay light on your feet, be careful, and keep doing your snow dance.
