The past couple of storms have been sleeper-esque. Not a ton of anticipation but the results have been phenomenal. The Thursday-Friday storm this week was no exception. 10 inches fell overnight unexpectedly and the skiing was top notch today.
Everything, short of the Castle, opened up early this morning so skiers were dispersed well. Not to mention the visibility was very poor at times, so skiers weren’t venturing out all that much. Which left the snow on Keyhole and the Shoulder deep a untracked.
The snow had a hard layer beneath but there was enough fluff to make everything soft and playful. What a day!
