Alta saw a sleeper foot of powder Saturday night into Sunday and then another foot came swinging through Sunday night. By Monday morning the skies had cleared and we were all set for a classic bluebird Alta powder day. The road opened on time and movement was steady.
We went straight to the end of the High T first run and found fresh fast creamy snow all the way down. By run 4 Baldy Shoulder was opened and following it was the Backside. Both were creamy and fast as well. The snow stayed soft and playful well into the afternoon even where it was getting tracked. Great day.
