It’s been a few days since Alta has seen any snowfall, but we figured it’s Alta we’ll still be able to find good snow. So we spent the day skiing in Devil’s Castle and weren’t disappointed. Some snow had a bit of a wind skin on it but it was still manageable at speed.
The skiing all over the Castle was quite good. Fresh tracks abound far out on the traverse and up towards the Apron. Sneaky Pete’s even had soft decent snow despite being beat up a bit. The clouds were pushing in towards the end of the day as light snow began to fall but we also got to see intermittent blue skies throughout the day.
