NateThis weeks storm dropped 12″ of snow on Alta. Yesterday was basically a country club day with free refills every run. The storm was intense but the conditions kept you coming back for more.
Today we saw bluebird skies and lots of gates dropping. Backside opened early and Baldy Shoulder wasn’t too far behind. I found my best turns in Keyhole and on the Shoulder. The parking lot was completely packed but you wouldn’t know it based on the lift lines. Not a single wait after 10:30.
Conditions look to be drying out over the next week but it will remain cold so hopefully the snow quality stays high!
