NateYesterday we were treated to one of Utah’s newest resorts, Whisper Ridge. A heli and cat skiing operation, Whisper Ridge operates just 90 minutes north of Salt Lake City. With over 60,000 acres of skiable terrain this place is nothing short of phenomenal.
Lucky for us 10″ of Utah fluff fell the night before providing exceptional skiing conditions. We skied in multiple different zones from morning till dusk. The terrain is a mix of glades and bowls with a few steeps thrown in for good measure. Our guides were very accommodating especially considering the wide range of skiing abilities in the cat. More experienced skiers were shown the steeper more challenging terrain while the intermediate skiers were kept happy in the open bowls.
