Forecasters called for 3-6″ in the Cottonwoods but Mother Nature treated us to a few extra with a storm total of 8″. Skies were cloudy and filled with flurries for most of the morning with the sun poking it’s head out in the afternoon. Most gates opened early on except for Devil’s Castle and the Baldy Chutes.
Keyhole seemed to be holding the deepest snow but coverage has really suffered back there over the past month. Baldy Shoulder and Backside were skiing great early on but quickly got chopped up by the large crowds. Forecast looks decent with two more storms expected to impact Alta tomorrow night and Monday night. Keep it coming!
