It was frostbite of the toe that kept me at home until the very tail end of the great snow Alta has seen over the past week A 43′ storm total has built our base nicely. Most lines and cliffs in the Bad News area have been skied. Far looker’s left on Supreme Bowl is still closed and looks rocky. But the runs close to the Supreme lift and in Catherine’s Area are still skiing soft. High Boy is skiing fast and firm. Most of the Backside slid and a large portion of Baldy Shoulder is avalanche debris as well. The snow is still soft and fun so get out there before groomer days kick in.
Big? That thing was HUDGE!!!!!
Hooray for more high pressure.
Yea it was so huge that you have to add a ‘D’ to truly describe just how hudge it really was!
